YstradTV Meets Big Screen Star At Dylan Thomas Prize Event

The Dylan Thomas Prize, one of the world’s largest international literary awards, this weekend revealed its long list in an exclusive announcement, hosted by Hollywood star and Dylan Thomas Prize Ambassador, Michael Sheen.

The event, held at Port Talbot’s beautiful Margam Park, reflected the Dylan Thomas Prize’s global status, featuring authors hailing from numerous continents and countries, including South Africa, Kenya, North America, the UK, Iran and China.

YstradTV was invited to the event, as part of a collaboration project with the Dylan Thomas Prize, to cover the long list announcement.

Following the event, we grabbed a few words with Prize Founder, Peter Stead and Welsh star Michael Sheen, who wasn’t short of compliments of the prize and the great man himself, Dylan Thomas, “It’s a huge honour to be associated with a someone who’s work has meant so much and inspired me.”
